A beautiful staircase can transform a home — adding warmth, character, and a true sense of craftsmanship. For this project, we worked closely with the client to design and build a bespoke oak staircase that feels timeless, solid, and perfectly at home.

Understanding the Vision

The client wanted a staircase that would feel like a real part of their home — something solid, beautiful, and built to last. We began with a visit to the house, taking in the space and discussing ideas. Together, we settled on a bespoke oak staircase with a classic, timeless look.

Selecting the Materials

Choosing the right materials was key. We sourced high-quality, sustainably grown oak, handpicking each piece for its grain, strength, and natural character. The idea was to create something that would only get better with age.

Crafting by Hand

Back at the workshop, we got to work. Every tread, riser, and handrail was carefully crafted by hand, using traditional joinery methods to ensure strength and durability. The attention to detail at this stage makes all the difference — from the smooth flow of the handrail to the perfectly balanced steps underfoot.

Finishing the Details

Once the pieces were ready, the oak was carefully sanded and treated to highlight its natural beauty while protecting it for everyday use.

Bringing It All Together

Installation was the final step — fitting the staircase seamlessly into the heart of the home.
